BDO Johannesburg has a vacancy for an intern to work within BDO Corporate Finance and applications are invited from recent graduates.

The key purpose of this role is to assist the Corporate Finance team in delivering quality Corporate Finance services and to enable fee base growth.
The Corporate Finance intern will, inter alia, be responsible for the following key activities to achieve the main objectives:
- Provide high quality deliverables (and supporting workbooks) within agreed timelines for all engagements (i.e., advisory services; financial modelling; financial due diligence, etc);
- Advisory and auditing of all government grant applications and claims;
- Perform assurance (ISAE 3000) and agreed upon engagements (ISAE 4400);
- Adherence to deadlines;
- Attend all mandatory BDO training as required; and
- Ensure that the Corporate Finance planner is always up to date for personal planning.Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint;

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;

- Ensure all communication is professional and on-brand and contribute to client presentations as required;
- Ensure feedback requests are sent and ratings timeously agreed for all projects delivered upon; and
- Ensure feedback requests received are timeously responded to.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- B.Com. Degree (Accounting or similar) – minimum.
- Honours degree – advantageous.
