DIRECTORATE: Traffic Management
STIPEND: R 4000 stipend will be paid during the training period of three to six months

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12.
  • Fit and agile.
  • Driver’s License and prior safety and security training will be an added advantage.
  • Participation in the department’s volunteer programmes in safety of security in your area of residence will be an added advantage.
  • All applicants should indicate their level of activism in their communities.
  • No criminal record or any pending cases.
  • Be prepared to undergo training both theory and physical (fitness) training.
  • Be prepared to work 24/7 shift system.
  • Knowledge and Skills Communication (verbal and written)

Duties: Crime prevention, stop and search, arrest, attend to complaints, maintain law
and order and traffic control. Under supervision during training.

Applications must be submitted on the new Z83 form, obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the internet at www.dpsa.gov.za/documents.

The fully completed and signed new Z83 form should be accompanied by a recently updated compe ensive CV which specifies the previous/ current volunteer participation.

Matric Certificate, Identity Document
and Proof of residence, (only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications) clearly specify the ward number Gauteng Township, informal Settlement and number.

Applications received late will not be considered. Failure to submit all the requested documents will rest in the application not being considered.

All shortlisted candidates to undergo a technical & physical assessment that intends to test the level of fitness relevant to the job.

Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel subty check criminal record citizenship credit record chicks, qualification and and employment verification

The Department of Community Safety reserves the right not to make an appointment and to recruitment processes
