The UMP invites applications for the following positions: CLEANER (9 x POSTS) – MBOMBELA CAMPUS.
The primary purpose of these positions are to efficiently and effectively perform cleaning duties of designated areas including cleaning and washing of floors, walls, furnishings, fixtures, etc.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 10 or equivalent in the relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 year experience in the support service / hospitality field.
- A combination of educational qualification and experience.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping services.
- Perform spring/deep cleaning at designated areas according to set requirements.
- Handles, carries, and uses equipment, tools, and materials required to perform duties safely.
- Any other duties as requested by the supervisor/manager.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Have a thorough knowledge of cleaning
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Good planning and organising skills.
