The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is an entity of the Department of Transport responsible for improving the safety and security of the civil aviation industry by developing aviation laws in line with international standards.
SACAA also provides qualification standards for licenced aviation personnel such as pilots and aircraft engineers.
Why a Career in Aviation?
Aviation is a vast field which includes careers in piloting, various trades in engineering and mechanics, airport operations and the manufacturing of aircraft.
Those with a love and strong background in mathematics, physical science and engineering will fare very well in this field due to the technical nature of most of the jobs.

- Physical Science Level 6
- English Level 5
