Feenix Bursary Programmes 2022 for South African students | DEADLINE 14 OCTOBER
Feenix is an online crowdfunding platform that connects students and cmmunities to fundraise towards achieving debt-freee education.
Feenix has two (2) bursaries available on the Feenix Bursary Programmes website for South African students to apply for.
These bursaries are aimed at clearing historical debt specifically so students can enter the working world (Final Year).
The bursaries are specifically for students who have completed their undergraduate degrees in the Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, and Finance in 2019, 2020 or 2021 academic years with historical debt.
Funding remains the biggest obstacle students face in accessing a tertiary qualification. Feenix is a Public Benefit Organisation and crowdfunding platform that was established in response to the #FeesMustFall student-led movement of 2015/2016, which highlighted the exorbitant cost of obtaining a university degree in South Africa.
The Feenix team and its community believes in the potential of youth. Feenix believes that access to education should not be dependent on wealth.
Education creates opportunities for youth to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to participate in the economy, achieve upward mobility, and change the world for the better for all in it.
