The Gauteng Department of eGovernment, through its e-Waste Unit (Electronic Waste) is in the process of implementing the Gauteng e-Waste Management Strategy aimed at instituting safe and effective measures for the collection, processing and disposal of e-Waste in the Province.
The programme is also designed to contribute to economic development, Skills development and Job creation.
In this regards the Department wishes to invite suitable persons meeting the criteria
below to apply for the position of :
e-Waste Administrative Assistant.
CONTRACT POSITION: 12 Months
The Gauteng Department of e-Waste Management is hiring 25 e-Waste Admistrative Assistants (General Workers Level 2).
DUTIES:
- Provide administrative assistance Receive and record e-Waste products Reception services
- Sorting, Dismantling and Recycling of e-Waste
- Refurbishment of e-Waste products Customer service
- Monitoring of e-Waste assets
- Producing reports as required
- Perform any e-Waste Management admistrative and support duties as may be directed by the supervisor
APPLICANTS SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- South African citizenship
- Matric Certificate
- Resident of Gauteng Province
THE FOLLOWING WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE:
- Experience in Waste Management
- Experience in any Admin job
