Woolworths Financial Services would like to offer University graduates (class of 2021/2022) the opportunity to work for a dynamic retail bank within the Mother City.

Advanced Analytics Graduate Programme

Main Purpose:

A 12-month graduate programme to develop a detailed understanding of the functional units making up the Credit Risk Office (CRO). Focusing on, but not limited to: Acquisition Risk, Existing Customer Management (ECM) Risk, High Risk Account Management (HRAM), Portfolio Performance, Profitability, Impairment, Collections and Fraud Strategy.

Graduates will also receive exposure to Customer Analytics as well as Growth in the Chief Customer Office (CCO).

During the programme the candidate will acquire many technical skills which will efficiently equip them as they progress through the different functional units.

Functions will include, but are not limited to: Data analysis, SAS/SQL programming, modelling techniques, strategic thinking, customer analytics and insights, monitoring and tracking of management information (MI).

In addition, the candidate will gain insights in stakeholder management, as well as a general grasp of our range of credit products and the entire customer life cycle.

Minimum Qualifications: University degree in any of the following;-

  • Statistics
  • Mathematics
  • Data Science / Analytics
  • Actuarial Science
  • Business
  • Economics
  • Engineering
  • Information Systems

IT Graduate Programme

Main Purpose:

A 12 month graduate programme to develop a detailed understanding of the functional units making up the Chief Information Office (CIO). Focusing on, but not limited to: software development, business analysis, testing, project management and IT operations, as well as IT commercial management.

During the programme the candidate will acquire many technical skills which will efficiently equip them as they progress through the different functional units. They will gain exposure to best-practice project and portfolio management, encompassing both the Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Functions will include, but are not limited to: business and process analysis, BI development, programming, strategic thinking, analytics and insights, IT Infrastructure support, Operational incident management and system analysis, IT release management and solution architecture.

In addition, the candidate will gain insights in stakeholder and supplier management, as well as a general grasp of our range of credit products and the entire IT delivery and support life cycle.

Minimum Qualifications: University degree in any of the following;-

  • Information Technology and Information Systems
  • Computer Science
  • Information Science
  • Systems & Network Administration
  • Software Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Cloud Computing

Business Intellegence: Analyst Graduate Programme

Main Purpose:

A 12 month graduate programme to develop a detailed understanding of the functional units making up the Operational, Sales and Management Information areas.

During the programme the candidate will acquire many technical skills which will efficiently equip them as they progress through the different functional units.

Functions will include, but are not limited to: Data analysis, SAS/SQL programming, modelling techniques, strategic thinking, customer analytics and insights, monitoring and tracking of management information (MI).

In addition, the candidate will gain insights in stakeholder management, as well as a general grasp of our range of credit products and the entire customer life cycle.

Minimum Qualifications: University degree in any of the following;-

  • Data Science / Analytics
  • Engineering
  • Information Systems

Experience:

  • Candidates who have recently graduated from university (last 12 months) or will graduate this year
