Rolls-Royce South Africa invites unemployed graduates to apply for Graduate / Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.

Key Performance Areas & Duties:

General

  • Capturing all the banking transactions into the accounting system, SAP B1.
  • Preparing payments to various foreign creditors and ensuring all South African Reserve Bank requirements were met for each payment transaction.
  • Timeously processing cellular phone and fuel card expenses into the accounting system.
  • Processing prepaid expenses to the relevant general ledger accounts in the relevant accounting period.
  • Assist with the preparation of information required for the audit file.
  • Preparation of reports from the ERP system, and SAP B1 to be used by auditors for the internal audit and external audit.
  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Performance of assigned month-end tasks for monthly reporting.
  • Filing of processed batch payments made to suppliers.
  • Fixed asset administration.
  • Adhoc tasks as and when required by management.

Debtors

  • Maintaining supplier and customer information on the SAP accounting system
  • Reconciling staff debtor accounts
  • Assist with the allocation of receipts to the relevant debtor accounts
  • Maintaining customer information on the SAP accounting system
  • Attending to customer requests in a professional manner via email or telephonically. Identifying matters that needs to be escalated, and informing the debtors controller / financial manager
  • Adding new customers on SAP
  • Approving AR Invoices on SAP in accordance with the checklist provided

Creditors

  • Accurately process supplier invoices received from relevant departments for payment
  • Reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts with the supplier statements on a monthly basis and following up on any discrepancies, if any
  • Reconciliation of foreign suppliers accounts to the supplier statement and following up on any discrepancies, if any
  • Liaising with foreign suppliers regarding the status of the accounts.
  • Request B-BBEE certificate from suppliers
  • Update supplier database with B-BBEE information

Educational Requirements:

  • BCom Graduate (Accounts) or studying towards it.
