The Beier Group is offering a four-year apprenticeship programme for candidates who wish to work in a practical and technical field to become an artisan.

The Beier Group Apprenticeships will sponsor successful candidates to attend formal instruction session directly at the Umbilo Technical College and Shukela College to obtain knowledge that is relevant to their trade.

The Beier Group Apprenticeships will be available for the study fields below:

• Electrician
• Mechanical Fitter
• Boilermaker

Selected apprentices will be put into rotation at the group’s various manufacturing companies as a means of receiving as much practical exposure as possible.

Successul applicants will be entitled to a monthly stipend to support your journey, and relevant work readiness training to guide you throughout your work journey.

Eligibility Criteria

If you’d like to stand a chance of acceptance, make sure you fulfill all of the criteria that are mentioned. The Beier Group Apprenticeships Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

• Owns a legitimate South African Identity Document
• Has a Grade 12 qualification with a minimum of 50% for Mathematics or Science, or completed/currently in the process of finishing your N2 qualification with Mathematics and Science
• Did not participate in an apprenticeship programme prior to this own
• Can manage their own mode of transporation to and from work
• Owns a legitimate South African bank account as well as tax number
• Currently between 18-34 years old
• Already vaccinated against Covid-19.

• Your Matric Certificate as asll we as your N1/N2 results slip
• A copy of your Identity Document
