The Free State Cheetahs, currently named the Toyota Free State Cheetahs for sponsorship reasons, are a South African rugby union team that participates in the annual Currie Cup tournament.

They are governed by the Free State Rugby Union and are based at the 48,000 capacity Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Toyota Free State Cheetahs invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.

Internship Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Stipend: R3 000 per month

Vacancy for an internship as Team Assistant
Department: Rugby Department & Toyota Academy

Responsibilities:

• Assist both Senior and Junior teams
• Change Room set up
• Provide bibs and make sure training equipment is accessible at the training venue
• Must be present at all training sessions
• Water for players at training sessions
• Ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Valid driver’s licence essential
• Studying toward a sports management qualification
